As 2007 approaches, Micronations.Net approaches its fifth birthday. For any micronation this is a magnificent achievement, with many petering out long before their second anniversary. For a non-national entity though, this represents an even greater achievement. Micronations.Net, and the MNN Forums, have seen the rise and fall of hundreds of nations, some living for years, some for mere hours. We have seem micronationalists come and go, and organizations form and disband.
Next week, the Micronations.Net forums will be taking the first step in its complete remake before its fifth birthday. Many fantastic innovations are on their way, to be released on the fifth anniversary- January 28th, 2007. With the expiring of our ezGold package however, we will be making the first move now.
These forums will be moving from ezBoard at the end of the week to another forum package, which is completely under our control. All of the posts and users will be converted. In order for you to have immediate access to the forums however, you will need to obtain your new password. While your username will be automatically created, we cannot access your ezBoard password to transfer it across.
In order to gain your temporary password, you have two options. Please either email the below form to mnnmove@mncentre.net, or post a reply to it here (including an email address) and we will email you your temporary password before the launch. That way, as soon as we are launched, you will be able to log on, change your password and post straight away!
